from the series: Shooting People

I am sitting in a café. There is a bullet hole in a window and I am shooting the people walking past the window trying to hit them.

This series was shot in Belfast, Northern Ireland in the autumn of 2002. At the same time there was a sniper in Washington, a bomber in Helsinki and some random shooting in Belfast just to name a few incidents…
This series also deals with my own complex relation with photography - particularly when it comes to shooting people.
